  1. My friend Kerri*oke clued me in here, and I haven’t yet divined if she created this in the first place, but I think I think she did so and if so, that she was put up to this by some quirky HP contact/perception, which is what the world needs more of! More will be revealed/unveiled…Btw, wuts up with the Keith ref, that’s not sum kinda dis is it?! (keepin in mind that all refs become advertising!) I hope more and more Stones becomes available on *oke, esp from Exile on Mainstreet(from which many KJs draw Keith’s ‘Happy’ cut from)! See ya on stage, NJoy!

  2. I’m sitting at S***bucks on East Bay at Starkey (only because Baycoast Coffee is now closed . . . and SB decided to finally break down and give us free WiFi like Panera does, and Baycoast, of course, did as well) anyway, I’m almost falling off my comfy chair reading your post. You realize it’s this Blog’s first post! What an honor. PinellasKaraoke’s first post. How about a Page or a Post about all of the mis-heard lyrics? I confess, while singing “Drift Away” the other night, I have to admit I had no idea the actual lyric is, “Give me the beat boys and free my soul.” I always thought Dobie was singing, “Give me the people . . .” True Karaoke Konfessions.

  3. Central Station on Treasure Is. rec’d support via Cherie’s great *oke scene, with 4 of us from Clearwater,Largo,PinellasPark and StPete groovin n movin n singin our hearts out and back in again, in Cherie’s costume garb and w/o, gettin great entertainment from the other acts there inc Warren who dueted himself with multiple voices and then nailed Frankie falsetto Valli’s ‘Sherry’ selection with full force, fun damentaly fantastic for sure! Cherie’s changin the time to closer to a 9pm start unless a large group encourages her to be there at 8 (the former start time), but she’s there longer into the wee hrs than before, so good work Cherie! (who kept all of us busy w/o takin the mike herself for one song, at least til we left at 12:30!) I wish it wasn’t as smoky as it was, but oh well we can bring oxygen tanks if necessary! NJoy! AR P.s. thanks for the good work here Kerri, kinda kool (to say the least ;-)!

  5. Some smoke ‘less’ venues (less smoky than the rest!) inc Jack’s Moondance at Crum’s on 5 Av N near 30 St (Kenwood neighborhood St Pete) on Thurs, Ann’s Nite Out at NY NY (north of Belleair on US 19 in Clearwater) on Mons and Donnie Be Good (my nickname) at Harlies on 49 St N (just south of Park Blvd) on Tues, all class acts!
